The "What the Heck?" Story of the Week
After a United Airlines 737-800 pulled into gate C43 at Houston International Airport, a flight attendant decided the deplaning process was taking too long (a man was having trouble breathing and needed to be taken off the plane with a wheelchair) and thought she could sneak out of the plane by deploying the emergency slide and taking a fun ride down the slide with her bags. According to shocked witnesses, the flight attendant then got up and walked off the tarmac. United released a statement saying that the stewardess has been removed from her flying duties. (Airline ee)
